Anjali Aggarwal, M.Ed.
REGISTERED PSYCHOTHERAPIST (QUALIFYING)
Many people come to therapy carrying the weight of past experiences—trauma, neglect, emotional disconnection—that shape how they show up in their adult lives. These early wounds often impact relationships, self-worth, boundaries, as well as the ability to feel safe, connected, and understood. Others seek support for challenges like anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, PTSD, dissociation, or difficulties in communication within their relationships. My role is to help you make sense of these experiences, heal from old patterns, and create new ways of relating to yourself and others.

Through an integrative approach - drawing on EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Attachment-based practices - I support clients in moving beyond survival mode, reconnecting with their authentic selves, and building healthier, more fulfilling relationships. Together, we’ll focus on both understanding the roots of your struggles and developing the tools you need to feel grounded, empowered, and capable of change.

What It's Like to Work with Anjali

Working with me means stepping into a space that is compassionate, collaborative, and free of judgment. I believe that therapy should move at your pace, with respect for your boundaries and what feels safe to share. You’ll find that I listen deeply and tailor each session to meet your unique needs, rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach.

I would describe my style as warm, supportive, and non-pressuring. As an immigrant woman of colour, I bring an awareness of cultural context and systemic barriers into the room, ensuring that our work together honours your lived experience. Whether you are navigating trauma, strengthening your relationships, or seeking greater emotional clarity, my goal is to provide a safe space where you can feel seen, respected, and supported as you create meaningful change in your life.

Outside of Work
Outside of work, you can find me cozied up with a book and maybe a sweet treat or two. I enjoy trying new experiences and right now that includes learning how to play the piano, perfecting making cinnamon buns, and doing hot yoga.
